So, I like labels....a lot!
I have labels in all the normal places someone might use a label, but I also really like the look of matching containers- so of course, I use labels on them as well. A few months ago I re-did my spices, and purchased wonderful glass jars with bamboo lids (from the dollar store) and printed my own labels. (which can be purchased in the shop section of my website, or on my Etsy store.) I have some amazing food grade, air tight bins in my pantry for baking supplies, cereals, etc, where I also use the same type of label. I have labelled jars in my laundry room for each different product (liquid laundry soap, fabric softener, stain remover, laundry pods, oxi clean, dryer sheets, etc.) I even have labels on the bins in my cleaning closet for vehicle cleaning supplies, cleaning cloths, scents, etc.
During one year of Covid, we did homeschooling, so I had set up 'centers bins' which included Lego, playdough, base 10 blocks, clocks, flash cards, math games, word tiles, connectors, reading cubes, and math links. It also included bins of crayons, pencil crayons and markers. Each of these, of course, had to be labelled.
I love the look of matching containers, and clean, matching labels. Does this make me more organized? Not likely- but I do like the finished look, and that makes me happy! :)
