How Do I Start Getting Organized?
I always recommend starting small. Choose 1 cupboard or 1 drawer, or 1 closet and focus only on that area. Work on this specific task until it is entirely complete. If this means adding new bins or baskets, or a fresh coat of paint, make sure to completely finish the project before starting something else.
What Are My Favorite Products?
Some of my favorite products are my glass spice jars with bamboo lids, my clear, food grade, pantry storage bins, and my clear bins for the fridge.
Oh, and I love the Cozi calendar app on my phone! It's great for sharing the monthly schedule (and more) with the whole family.
I Want To Be Organized- I Just Don't Have The Time!
I get it! I really, truly get it. Life can be crazy busy sometimes, but the BEST thing you can do for yourself is to take the time to get organized, because guess what? It will help free up some of your time for the future! When you 'don't have time'- MAKE time! Make the choice to spend 15 minutes organizing a drawer, or 30 minutes a day for 3 days to set up an organization app on your phone, and upload all your data. The time you spend getting organized will help you feel less stressed and overwhelmed in the future!
What's A Brain Dump?
It's when you take all of the ideas and thoughts and worries and stress that are cluttering up your brain, and dump them out onto paper to free up your 'brain space'. Check out my Blog post for more info!
